  6. Why Genesis is Important There are those that are ignorant There are those that are false teachers Ignorant people can be saved But it is detrimental to walking with God The Bible’s authority may be ignored Rejection may mean a false Jesus – and no salvation

  7. Why Genesis is Important It was believed by Jesus, prophets & apostles A Christian is a disciple / follower of Jesus Christ – Luke 6:40; Rom. 8:29 The Old Testament Prophets affirmed it – Moses, Isaiah; Jeremiah; Nehemiah, . Psalms

  8. Why Genesis is Important The Apostles quote it – John, Paul, Hebrews; Peter Jesus quoted Genesis 1:27; 2:24; 5:2 and referred the people in it & its stories as real including Noah & the ark Christians are to believe what Jesus believed

  9. If You Reject Genesis You favor the thoughts of those who fit Romans 1:18-23 You accept the mocking of the ungodly – 2 Peter 3:3-7 Your god is small, impotent & unable to communicate clearly

  10. If you profess to believe the God of the Bible, then why limit His ability to do what He says and clearly communicate it?

Evolution Is Not ScienceScience Defined Science is: “knowledge acquired by careful observation, by deduction of the laws which govern changes and conditions, and by testing these deductions by experiment || a branch of study, esp. one concerned with facts, principles and methods” (Websters, 1989).

  12. Evolution Is Not ScienceScience Defined A Scientific theory must be observable, testable & repeatable Evolution was “unique, unrepeatable and irreversible” – it does not fit the definition of science or of being a scientific theory

  13. Evolution Is Not Science Neither Evolution or Creation are science or scientific theories. Both are philosophical beliefs Creation & Evolution are the basis for scientific models Which model best explains what is actually observed? Which model best adapts to what is actually observed?
