Education In Turkey • It is centralized under the Ministry of National Education • Ministry of National Education is responsible for: • drawing up curricula, • coordinating the work of official, private and voluntary organizations, • designing and building schools, • developing educational materials …

  4. FINANCING OF THE EDUCATION Public education is supported from the central government, Primary education is also supported locally, mainly for the construction and maintenance of schools.

  5. Formal Education Formal educationis regular education provided in formal schools. In Turkish National Education System, formal education is formed of four parts as: • Pre-School • Primary • Secondary • Higher Education

  6. Primary Education compulsory schooling for both boys and girls, In public schools: free 99 % of the children in this age group attend schools

  7. NEW EDUCATION SYSTEM IN TURKEY 4+4+4 12 YEARS COMPULSORY EDUCATION

  8. 4+4+4 The new education system is divided into three levels – *four years of primary school, *four years of middle school *four years to high school. 

  9. 4+4+4 The new system will require students to attend a primary, secondary and a high school for four years each.

  24. NACİ ABAY PRİMARY SCHOOL Both the school staff and the pupils are motivated to take part in different projects locally and internationally. In 2015, the school entered the TUBİTAK 4006 Science Fair, with 78 projects. The project fair had been visited by 1200 people.
