  2. What is visualizing and verbalizing? • Visualizing is directly related to language comprehension, language expression, and critical thinking. Imagery is a primary sensory connection in the brain. • Words change to pictures in your mind and those pictures change back to words to help your verbalize.

  4. Right Hemisphere Left Hemisphere • We have two parts to our brain. The right hemisphere and the left hemisphere. • These two parts of your brain do different things. When you visualize, or imagine, the right side of your brain is at work. • When you talk, the left side of your brain is a work.

  5. Why teach Visualizing and Verbalizing? • to teach you how to improve the use both sides of your brain • to help you improve your ability to visualize and then verbalize pictures in your brain • As these two sides learn to work together, you will be able to improve your understanding and remember language better. • The exercises will help you to organize your thoughts and verbalize those thoughts from images.

  6. Visualizing and Verbalizing will improve: • Visualizing improves the ability to understand and remember what we read or hear. • Verbalizing improves the ability to express ourselves orally or in writing. • Explain picture to picture exercise
