Important Updates on Staff ID and Student Memberships in PSEO

DESCRIPTION

This document outlines key updates in the PSEO system regarding staff identification and student memberships. Teachers must now enter all 9s in the staff ID field, as the use of Social Security Numbers (SSNs) for Staff EMIS IDs has been eliminated. Additionally, students who withdrew before the first day of school will now have their memberships included in the Period K transfer file. The MEMBEMIS system has also been updated to use only the State Staff ID for EMIS IDs, removing the SSN option entirely.

New: • PSEO teachers enter all 9’s in the staff id field. Credit flex teachers may have all 9’s or a credential id. The SSN will no longer be used for a Staff EMIS ID. • Memberships for students who withdrew before the first day of school will now be included in the Period K transfer file.
