15. Donors Choose • DonorsChoose.org is a website that connects teachers who need resources for their classroom with individuals who want to fund their classroom needs. • Public school teachers, district-employed guidance counselors, social workers, and librarians can logon to DonorsChoose.org and submit requests to meet their students’ needs.

16. Here’s How It Works: • You register at DonorsChoose.org and request a resource your students need. • An individual searches and funds your request. • Donors Choose e-mails you to confirm that you still need the resources you requested. • You respond to the confirmation e-mail within SIX days. • Supplies are shipped to your classroom, along with a feedback package (a manila envelope, an instruction sheet, and a disposable camera).

17. How Donors Choose Works (2) • You teach the lesson and use the disposable camera to photograph the resources in action. • You and your students complete short thank you notes for the donor who bought your supplies. • You mail the disposable camera and the thank you notes to DonorsChoose.org, in the prepaid envelope provided in your feedback kit.
