This presentation covers the IPPC Capacity Development Strategy, core training materials, resource development, and the status of NPPO management materials. It details the strategy adopted by CPM in 2009, recent IPPC updates, ongoing implementation discussions, and technical resources development. Over 20 resources are in progress, including manuals, SOPs, training kits, and e-learning modules. The emphasis is on globally relevant topics not already available, focusing on management and emerging issues. Feedback and updates are ongoing to ensure the materials meet the needs of the IPPC community. The core training materials serve as a foundation for future activities and are reviewed multiple times by the Capacity Development Committee and additional experts. The materials are available online at www.phytosanitary.info, with pilot testing and feedback through partnerships with NPPOs and RPPOs. Translation efforts are ongoing, and resources will continue to be updated on the website. Feedback is welcome for further improvements and collaboration opportunities.
