    7. Why Calibrate Handpieces? Every handpiece has unique internal properties, based on manufacturing tolerances, age, wear, maintenance, etc. If the motor is not calibrated for the unique handpiece, then the speed and torque on the display cannot be accurate! AEU-7000-70V: Unique Feature: Automatically detects the handpiece reduction ratio: Implant: 16:1 to 32:1 Endo: 4:1 to 16:1 Performs mechanical calibration (free-run and under progressively increasing torque load) to analyze the mechanical properties of the handpiece Integrated Dynamometer (torque measuring device) is included in the price Calibration results in speed and torque on the display being highly accurate for the unique handpiece being used at the time of treatment!
