Project Purpose • Increase number of Ohio baccalaureate degree holders. • Improve retention rates of distance learning students. • Facilitate communication between advisors and between advisors and students. • Pilot the use of webcams for advising purposes.

Promote Collaboration • eLearning Conference Distance Learning Conference: the Power of Collaboration. • Scholarships for Community College students. • Technical and professional support for advisors.
Advising Collaboration • Establish advisory group for advisors of online programs (UT has 40 online programs) 2. Meet and collaborate with advisors at select community colleges • Use technology (Webcams, IM and video conferences) for collaborative efforts • Implement retention efforts for transfer students

Assessment • Focus Groups • Assessments embedded in pilot courses • Student persistent rates
