  2. Signs of a proud heart: • thinks more highly of self than should • brags, conceited • prejudice • not associate with the lowly • self-righteous • ungrateful, unthankful • outcomes are less dependant on God • self-centered • thinks he’s humble

  3. How? • repent, confess, ask forgiveness • retrain self with God’s word • Mk. 7:17-22; Col. 3:10 • love God, be humble toward Him • Ja. 4:6-10; Gal. 6:14 • love people, be humble toward them • 1 Cor. 13:4-8; Phil. 2:3-5
