  6. Welcome to St. Peter Our services this week focus on one of the “solas” (Latin for “only” or “alone”) of the Lutheran Reformation: Saved by Scripture Alone. As you worship today, notice an emphasis in the hymns, prayers, Bible readings and the pastor’s message on the saving power and guidance of God’s holy Word. As our celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Lutheran Reformation continues may we renew our love for and commitment to Scripture, the very words of the true and living God!
