  1. CRI Pumps CRI Pumps is the leading manufacturer and distributor of Industrial Equipments such as pumps, valves, motors, steel casting, wires acrossworldwide. For more details visit us at: http://www.crigroups.com/pumps.php

  2. Submersible Pumps A submersible pump or electric submersible pump (ESP)) is a device which has a hermetically sealed motor close-coupled to the pump body. The whole assembly is submerged in the fluid to be pumped. The main advantage of this type of pump is that it prevents pump cavitation, a problem associated with a high elevation difference between pump and the fluid surface. 3. DESCRIPTION A submersible pump comprises of a hermetically sealed motor coupled close to the pump body. This is fully submerged inside fluid for pumping the fluid out. The sealed encasing of the motor prevents it from coming in contact with the fluid and cause short circuit. So, most specifically speaking, unlike any other pumps that operate outside fluid surface to suck the fluid out, these pumps push the fluid outside by submerging itself inside it. It can vary in size and depending on size and operation, there are two basic types of pumps used to pump potable water – shallow well pump and deep well pump. 4. APPLICATIONS They have various usages that range from drainage to sewage pumping, industrial pumping and slurry pumping. They are lowered in boreholes and used for various purposes like domestic, commercial and industrial applications. They find great usage in supplying water to agricultural fields. Besides, they find application in handling seawater, fire fighting and treatment of sewage. Groundwater lowering, offshore drilling rigs, irrigation systems, mine dewatering, borehole drilling and pressure boosting are few of its other usages as well.
