SPIRITUAL STABILITY IS RIGHT THINKING 8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things arenoble, whatever things arejust, whatever things arepure, whatever things arelovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. 9  The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. “Finally”…..Meditate…Think • Dwell on these things. (2) Evaluate these things. (3) Consider spending your time on these things. (4) Calculate these things. (5) Order these things into your life.

SPIRITUAL STABILITY IS RIGHT THINKING Focused on the flesh (Rom. 8:5) Romans 8:5 5  For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. Leads to spiritual death (Rom. 8:6) Romans 8:6 6  For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Colossians 1:21 21  And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled

SPIRITUAL STABILITY IS RIGHT THINKING Foolish (1 Cor. 2:14) 1 Corinthians 2:14 14  But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. Hardened to spiritual truth (2 Cor. 3:14) 2 Corinthians 3:14 14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.

SPIRITUAL STABILITY IS RIGHT THINKING Ignorant (Eph. 4:18) Ephesians 4:18 18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; Defiled (Titus 1:15) Titus 1:15 15  To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
