  2. About SeñorSpradley • Studied at Trinity University • Lived in Costa Rica • Married a Costa Rican • Twelve years teaching experience • Third year at RRHS • Have a 5 and ½ year old son, and a 3 year old daughter • Had awesome teachers who inspired me to become a teacher!

  3. Señorita Lugo • is a proud member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2004! Whoop! • was raised by her 2 wonderful grandparents. • has seven years teaching experience. • enjoys going to Aggie football games on the weekends. • loves the San Antonio Spurs! • absolutely enjoys teaching your child Spanish!

  4. Class Philosophy • I expect excellence, and I am here to help your child. • ¡Bienvenidos! Spanish is a course designed to introduce students to the four language skills of communication: speaking, listening, reading, and writing, as well as the Hispanic culture. Everyone will be encouraged to think and expected to speak in Spanish, rather than English. Students should spend considerable time studying at home to reinforce the daily class content. Trash in, trash out.

  5. Grading, Retake & Late Work Procedures   No single assignment or assessment shall count for more than 30% of their total average. Please use Home Access to stay up to date on grades, missing work and attendance. GRADE CATEGORIES & WEIGHT • Major: Tests & Projects = 50% • Minor: Homework, class work, quizzes = 50% • LATE WORK: Unexcused late work will have a 10 point deduction per day that it is late up to five days. RETAKES: You may retake QUIZ and TEST grades below a 70 and retest up to a grade of a 70. Retakes must be scheduled with the teacher in advance to be done during tutorials. There are NO retakes for projects.
