  2. A Written Code Laws The code represented an important step in the protection of the rights of the individual. The laws were made by Draco and they were harsh. There was also hamerabys

  3. Solons Reform Solon a more Humane person then Draco took over he was a part of the council of four hundred. He made the Athenian the poorest people in his time.

  4. Athenian Democracy Not long after Solons death in 599 B.C.E. Athens was ruled by Peisistratus. He did religious festivals in the city. Cliestenses divided all of Attica into small areas.

  5. An Expanding Culture By the sixth century there was nearly 150 city state in mainland Greece. Because of their geological feature they had different jobs than other states in Greece some were cattle people some were good for trade and so on. Barbarians were people that were stronger and bigger.In Greece they called Barbarians Bar-Bar.
