Status of Australian ILDG Node • Installed dCache and have SRM data transfer working • Data can be downloaded from our dCache server via SRM and gridFTP • We can download data from other ILDG sites • Some problems with authentication and authorization but these should be fixed now • Allows download via SRM/gridFTP or HTTP • Metadata Catalog web service working • Upgraded to using eXist XML database version 1.1 • Upgraded Apache Axis to version 1.4 to fix query problems from some clients • File (Replica) Catalog web service working • Uses a wrapper around GT4 RLS • Maps logical file names to SRM and HTTP URLs

Data and Metadata • Made proposal to add FLIC schema to QCDml • This allows us to generate metadata for all CSSM ensembles • But still need to clarify schema to specify link smearing • Upgrading our metadata generation program to support QCDml 1.4 and FLIC • Still testing and fixing some minor problems, should be finished in 1-2 weeks • Program to convert CSSM data files to LIME format now works • Files are being converted and added to dCache • Still have some ensembles with metadata in MDC but data not yet in dCache • but should have most of the data available soon • Currently in the process of adding some new ensembles, esp. FLIC • Should all be available in a few weeks

CSSM and ILDG Portal • Updated our Web portal • Simple user interface • Also allows arbitrary Xpath Query • Enables distributed query of MDCs of all ILDG sites • Displays basic information about each ensemble • Can download XML metadata • But doesn’t yet support data download • Customized version for searching and downloading CSSM data

  5. Future Work • Update all metadata to QCDml 1.4.1 when it is finalized • Add new data sets, especially more FLIC configs. • Use SRM to provide access to CSSM data stored at multiple sites • SAPAC in Adelaide and APAC National Facility in Canberra • Enable SRM data download via our web portal
