The Maryland STEM Portfolio Project (MSPP) enhances educational practices through Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and the integration of Web 2.0 tools, including geospatial technologies. Begun in February 2011, this initiative empowers teachers with the resources to create digital ePortfolios that demonstrate student learning and projects. Through professional development, participants engage in workshops and webinars to strengthen their instructional strategies. Unused funds from resources are being reallocated to support innovation in classrooms, focusing on best practices in STEM education.
