  3. Off Days! On September 3, Jenkins Independent was out for Labor day.

  4. 9ll Jenkins had a program for the victims of 911. The teachers made a video for the program and the students said the Pledge Of Allegiance.

  5. Bully Program. After school the teachers stayed and had a meeting about bullying. Then on September 4th, The students had a program about bully prevention.

  6. Girls and Boys Basketball Girls and boys middle school and high school basketball open gym started. Basketball season starts October 15th.

  10. CAVS In the month of September the cavalier football boys went 4-2. Charlie Cox said, “This season has been really good, the team really deserved this and we know everyone is proud of us. This is my senior year and I know that we are trying our best to make it the best it can be.” Charlie Cox is a important part of the Jenkins football team. He is a leader, and a lot of the players look up to him.

  11. Player of the month. Name: Cody Childers (Lil’ Red) So far this season Lil’ Red has had 4 rushing touchdowns. He said, “This year we have a better team. Everyone is working hard and doing their best.”

  12. A+ Report cards. B+ C+ Report cards were released Wednesday, September 26th. D+ F+
