Midterm Examination • The Midterm Exam will be on Thursday, October 24at 1pm. • You will have a maximum of 100 Minutesfor the Exam. • This should be plenty of time.

Midterm Examination • The Examination will be in THREE Parts: • Multiple Choice Questions (75 points) • Essay/Short Answer Questions (25 points) • Extra Credit (15 points)
A. Multiple Choice Questions • There will be 25 of these. • Each question will have several possible answers; • Sometimes only one answer is correct but sometimes two or more answers may be correct; • BUT one answer will ALWAYS be better than the others; • So, YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE THE BEST ANSWER in each case.
B. Essay/Short Answer Questions • There will be 5 of these. • Answer all five of them around two paragraphs using your own words. • There will be a maximum of 25 points for this section.
C. Essay Question • There will be 1 essay question that requires the advanced knowledge in analysing the fundamental issues related to comparative politics. • There will be a maximum of 15 points for this section.
