Community Connections: Completing 30 hrs of Work Experience arranged with Ms Keon (career prep, part-time or summer jobs, volunteer work for a community organization or requesting a placement ) 2. Career and Life Completing a Graduation Transition Plan 3. Student-led Interview Ms. Morabito/Ms. Neves/Mr. Steko

SFU Admission Requirements The 4 requirements for grade 12 students are: • Admission based on evaluation of approved Gr 11/ 12 courses • English Language Requirement: Minimum grade of 70% in English 12 • Math Requirement: A minimum of 60% in Foundations or Pre Calculus Math 11 or 12 • General Admission Requirements: Present a minimum of 5 approved Gr 12 courses, including English 12 • - Online courses completed by Jan 31/ 2020 4. Program Specific Requirements – Take required courses for your programs of interest from List A and then add List A or B courses

UBC Requirements • Admission: Students recommended to take six Gr 12 courses academic or non academic • Overall Academic Assessment: UBC will broadly evaluate your academic history by looking at your grades in all Gr 11 & 12 • Core Academic Assessment: The degree that you apply to will determine which courses UBC evaluates. UBC will look at your grades from all the academic Gr 11 & 12 courses that fall under subject categories to the degree you applied to at UBC. Focus on the higher level only btw Gr 11 & 12 • Assessment of individual courses: Must have strong grades in your key courses, for ex: English 12 (min 70%) , Pre Calculus 12…. • Recognition of breadth, rigour and relevancy in your course work – Not • required for admission to UBC, but they may give your application an • advantage.
