  10. Spiritual - Leadership • Though not equal in priority, they are equal in importance in order to be effective. • Spiritual Growth without Leadership Development results in passionate ineffectiveness. • Leadership Development without Spiritual Growth results in purposeful ineffectiveness.

  17. Always Remember: • Working for the Lord is not the same as having an intimate relationship with Him. • The most important thing you do in your ministry is spend personal time with God each day. • Matthew 7:24-27

  19. Leadership Skills Development • Leaders are readers. • Leaders are life-long learners. • Leaders are willing to step up and are willing to step back. • Leaders do not fear evaluation. • Leaders purposefully connect with other leaders.

  20. Essential Leadership Skills • Ability to manage time • Ability to enlist and train others • Ability to motivate volunteers • Ability to prioritize Family/Health/Work/Service Spend Time Decide how to spend Learn to draw boundaries • Ability to draw boundaries • Ability to communicate publicly
