Annual Study Program • Disturbance list for 2008 Annual Study Program • PATHS • 16 (Idaho Sierra), 24 (PG&E Sierra), 27 (Intermountain DC), 28 (Intermountain-Mona 345), 29 (Intermountain-Gonder 230), 30 (TOT 1A), 31 (TOT 2A), 32 (Pavant/Intermountain-Gonder), 33 (Bonanza West), 34 (TOT 2B 1&2) 35 (TOT 2C) (NE of Vegas), 36 (TOT 3), 39 (TOT 5) 40 (TOT 7), 76 (Alturas Project) • Of the 15 paths identified there are only 2 known SPS/RAS outages • DGT-1 (Bonanza Unit Dropping), PACE-1 (Mona-IPP Power & Voltage Relay Scheme), • Critical outage for each path will be identified • Additional outages include: • Midpoint-Summer Lake Palo Verde-Devers 1 & 2 Harry Allen – Mead 500kV • Disturbances per Regions • Idaho/Montana – 2007 • Colorado/Utah/Northern Nevada 2008 • Canada/NW/COI - 2009 • California between Path 15 and W of River - 2010 • Desert SW/Las Vegas/Arizona/New Mexico - 2011

  5. Performance Log Review • TRI-STATE PERFORMANCE LOG REVIEW • Tri-State Plans to present revised study results at the November 2007 SRWG Meeting for review/approval.

Representation Log Review • The Rep Log was reformatted for clarity • 428 Rep log items including missing PSS for generators • This Rep Log is a comparison between the 08LW1 pre-run and approved base cases. • PSS Survey was sent out in January 2007 • For Generators 75MVA or greater • 75% Response • PSS Survey was be sent out for those generators 30MVA – 75MVA in May 2007

  7. Circulating Loop Flow In Base Cases • Circulating loop flow in bases have been identified. The target flows were not met. • Few base cases were posted that did not meet the following criterion: • Actual flows within  10% of target are acceptable, but not to exceed the actual rating of the path. • SRWG Evaluating the need of a Task Force to address this issue • Stressed Base Cases – Scenario Base Cases

  8. SRWG Handbook • The SRWG completed the final SRWG Draft Handbook. • The SRWG Handbook is presented to TSS for review/comments.

  9. Data Preparation Procedure Manual • The DPPM completed the final SRWG Draft Handbook. • The DPPM was revised to address the NERC Standards. • The SRWG Handbook is presented to TSS for review/comments.
