  3. The first people to start using the pencil where the Egyptians. They first begin using sticks to scratch etchings into papyrus. Know the pencil has gone through a lot of changes.

  4. Who Invented the pencil? • In 1795 after about 200 years of the discovery of graphite. The modern pencil was officially created. Nicholas Jacques Conte is the man who is know that invented the pencil.

  5. Pencil changed • In 1865 they attached an eraser to the top of the pencil so you could correct the mistakes you did. The person who created this change was Hymen Lipman. So now if you write something and you need to erase the pencils that we have now have an eraser so you could erase.
