Victoria College's commitment to workforce training has made a significant impact in the Golden Crescent region. Since 2006, the Skills Development Fund has awarded 7 grants totaling $9,006,016, resulting in 287,000 training hours for 4,800 trainees. Key initiatives include the Oil & Gas Technology AAS degree, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic certificate, and the Gonzales Center expansion. With an emphasis on customized training programs, the college also fosters skills development through expanded welding programs and dual credit courses, driving workforce readiness in vital industries.
