  2. Apatosaurus Apatosaurus walked on four legs. It walked slowly and was 70-90 feet long. It was an herbivore. Its fossils were found in North America. It lived in the Jurassic Period. Apatosaurus had a long skull and a very tiny brain. Apatosaurus had a long whip-like tail for protection and four massive column-like legs. by Anthony

  3. Megalosaurus Megalosaurus was a carnivore. It was 30 feet long. Megalosaurus lived in the Jurassic Period. It had a short neck. Megalosaurus was the fastest meat eater ever. Megalosaurus had sharp teeth and sharp claws. It’s fossils were found in England. by Brent

  4. Brachiosaurus Brachiosaurus was a plant eater. They were herbivores and lived in Colorado and Tanzania. The Brachiosaurus was 85 feet long. Brachiosaurus had a long neck and a small head. They walked on four legs. The Brachiosaurus lived in the Cretaceous Period. By Brian

  5. Diplodocus Diplodocus was a plant eater. It didn’t have sharp teeth. It was ninety feet long. It lived in the Jurassic Period. The neck was long. Its fossils were found in Western USA. It moved slowly on four column-like legs. It had a whip-like tail and five toed feet. It protected itself with its thumb claws and its whip-like tail. by Brooke

  6. Stegosaurus Stegosaurus was 26-30 feet long. Stegosaurus ate plants. It had small cheek teeth and a small brain the size of a walnut. Stegosaurus lived in the Jurassic Period.   7. Triceratops Triceratops was a plant eater. Triceratops was 30 feet long. Triceratops top two horns were up to 10 feet long. Triceratops walked on four short legs. He had a large bony plate. He lived during the late Cretaceous Period. On his head he had one short horn and two longer horns. He was a slow dinosaur. He had legs with hood like claws. Triceratops had many cheek teeth. He also had powerful jaws. Triceratops fossils were found in Saskatchewan, Canada. by Dylan

  8. Lambeosaurus Lambeosaurus was a plant eater. His fossils were found in North America – USA, Mexico, and Canada. He walked and ran on two legs. He was a fast dinosaur. He ate pine needles and leaves. He lived in the Cretaceous Period. He had webbed fingers, a bony crest beak, and a crested duckbill to protect himself. Lambeosaurus were 30 to 50 feet long. by Gena

  9. Supersaurus Supersaurus ate only plants and conifers. They lived during the Jurassic Period. Supersaurus was 54 feet tall and weighed up to 55 tons. They were one of the longest dinosaurs at 138 feet long. They had one thumb claw on each toe. Their front legs were shorter than their back legs. It had a 39 foot long neck and they were giant. They protected themselves by using their whip-like tail. Their fossils were found in Colorado, USA. They walked slowly on four legs. by Jessica

  10. Pachycephalosaurus Pachycephalosaurus ate plants, seeds and fruit. It was an herbivore. An herbivore is a plant eater. It had a dome head. It did not run very fast. It ran on two legs. Pachycephalosaurus had powerful hands, and a long stiff heavy tail. Pachycephalosaurus had long hind legs. It had five clawed fingers on each hand. It lived during the Cretaceous Period. Its fossils were found in Montana, USA. Pachycephalosaurus was 15 feet long. It used it large dome head for ramming against predators. by Jordan

  12. Iguanodon Iguanodon was 30 feet long and the fossils were found in Belgium, Germany, North Africa, and the USA. It ran on two legs or walked on four legs. Iguanodon is relatively fast dinosaur. Iguanodon ate plants. It lived in the Cretaceous Period. It was toothless and had a horny beak. Iguanodons had thumb spikes and a flat stiff tail to protect themselves. by Mikey

  13. Compsognathus Compsognathus was a meat eater. Its fossils were found in Germany. Compsognathus walked on two long slender legs. It was fast. It lived in the Jurassic Period. It was 4.6 feet long. It protected itself with sharp teeth and clawed fingers. It could run away from danger with its long thin legs and three-toed feet.   15. Ankylosaurus Ankylosaurus at plants. It was 25-35 feet long. Its fossils were found in Bolivia, South America. It lived in the Cretaceous Period. It was a hard armored dinosaur.   16. Kentrosaurus Kentrosaurus was a plant eater. He lived in the Jurassic Period. His fossils were found in Africa. He protected himself by using his spikes. He had hoof-like claws too. Kentrosaurus weighed about 2 tons. It had a small brain. Kentrosaurus had two rows of bony plates and a double row of spikes. Kentrosaurus walked slowly on four legs. by Sheila

  17. Ornithomimus Ornithomimus was 15-20 feet long. His fossils were found in North America. They ate plants and reptiles and insects. Ornithomimus looked like an ostrich and had three clawed fingers and a long tail for fast turns. Ornithomimus lived in the Cretaceous Period. by Trevor

  18. Pentaceratops Pentaceratops was a plant eater. Pentaceratops lived in the Cretaceous Period. Pentaceratops had a frill on its head. Pentaceratops ate cycads, palms and prehistoric plants.
