14. It has been useful in terms of highlighting developmental gaps i.e. business plan, which has helped develop the organisation and put us in better stead for tenders and funding bids. Trusted Charity is a good opportunity to reflect, review and change where necessary. Created awareness for trustees – protecting their interests. Very positive – Trusted Charity has helped the organisation work through a comprehensive review of the organisation in a structured and logical way as well as provide a framework for changes needed. The Trusted Charity process has been positive and beneficial to establish the organisation’s governance structures during a time of change. The Trusted Charity process has been beneficial to start the process of improving the organisation’s systems and processes. It had given staff the opportunity to question ways of working and to look for improvements. It has been positive for gaining a better understanding of and improving fundamental aspects of the organisation (e.g. models of service and operational plan), which may not have happened otherwise
