  2. Congratulations Class of 2014: 100% of 8th graders accepted at their top choice of Catholic High School!

  3. Goals in 2013/14: • Expanded P.E. and Health Class • Improve Spanish • Learning Support • Enrichment • Build a gym

  4. Additional Accomplishments: • PowerSchool • Emergency Alert System • Security Upgrades • Student Council • Marketing • Grant Writing

  5. Spanish: • More substantial changes for 2014/15 • New Spanish teacher will: • Refine PK-5th • Implement 6th – 8th • Goal: Graduates will beginto test out of Freshman Spanish.

  6. Mathematics: • 2014/15 Mathematics: • 5th – 8th Math class split • Mrs. Hickey with half, Homeroom teacher with the other half • Experimenting this year and last • Short term data is positive

  7. Textbook Adoption: • Writing Program is the first new textbooks adoption, with more to come on an annual basis • New Program • Alignment • Continuity • Consistency

  8. New Teacher Salary Scale: • Current Salary Scale • Seniority and Education • Ties us to Seattle Public • New Scale • Transitioning into a “Banded System” • Meet or exceed Seattle Public • Recognize and Reward our dedicated staff

  16. Our Goal: No one leaves because families are unable to pay for tuition!
