UMD Library Resources • Identify technological, political-legal, economic, social-cultural and competitive environments using the following resources • Search first by country, then by industry area or other specific subject terms, such as consumer behavior, a particular product line or industry area

Use the geographic search fields in conjunction with your chosen industry area.

UMD Library Resources • Use Chapter 4, Leading Sectors for US Export and Investment in any Country Commercial Guide to identify promising industry areas, such as automotive components or information technology. • ISI Emerging Markets allows you to search for companies by sector or industry within a country, and retrieve a profile of matching firms.
