“Shooting an elephant” • An elephant was on a rampage running thru the town • It killed one man so the police were called in • A cop was called to kill him but he felt guilty to kill him. • He killed the elephant because there was so many people there.
Helen of Troy • Cassandra could see into the future • Cassandra told her parents if Paris lived that Troy would burn, the servant didn’t kill him so troy burned in a war
Macbeth • Macduff was born by a sea section. • 3 witches • Macbeth wanted to kill banquo and fleance because they knew what he did
Lord of the Flies • Plane crashed and they floated to an island • The kids were the only survivors they tried to save the pilot but he later died • Ralph wanted everyone to stick together • Jack made another clan the meat eaters clan • Piggy died trying to get his glasses back and trying to talk sense into the other • Simon was killed by jacks crew, they thought that he was the monster
Research papers • Do not use 1st person • Do a works citied page make sure you alphabetize your works citied • Never copy someone else work that is plagiarizing and you can get in serious trouble for that
“No Witchcraft” • Gideon got raises when he showed effect for the owners son Farquars. • Gideon got mad at Teddy because he insulted his son • Gideon did a good thing for his owners by saving Farquars life by spiting a secret remedy into his eyes where the snake spit in them
Poison tree • Two friends get into an altercation • One of the friends was growing an apple tree • The foe went and took the apple and it turned out to be a poisonous apple • The speaker felt revived to see his friend dead
“Get Up and Bar the Door” • A couple were to lazy to get up and lock there door • They decide to make a deal the first one to speak had to lock the door • No one talked first so they went to bed and two men broke in and ate a lot of there food
Beowulf • Grindle was the monster • The king and the kings men killed grindle’s father • Grindle killed the men in the meat hall • Grindles’s mother was the she-witch
