  2. Reproduction of a Whiptail Lizard • Sexual Reproduction • Two females that mate and then reproduce . Each of them have male chromosome . • When they act like males the more eggs they lay. The number of offspring varies according to species. • They don't get pregnant, they lay eggs. Eggs develop in female for about 4 weeks. Depending on temperature the eggs take 4 to 6 weeks to hatch. • They have no dependence, they are on their own at hatching. • Life span 7 to 12 years

Reproduction Of a Tiger • Female tigers usually begin to reproduce when they reach sexual maturity at amid 3 and 4 years of age • Male tigers reach sexual maturity slightly later, at between 4 and 5 years of age. • Sexual Reproduction • Tigers reproduce the same way all mammals do. • The male provides the sperm, and the female provides the egg. The female gives birth to a live tiger cub. • They usually only birth3-5 cubs ranging around 2-3 pounds

Similarities & Differences of a Whiptail Lizard And A tiger • Differences • The whiptail lizard doesn’t get pregnant while the Tiger does. • Tiger gives birth while the lizard reproduce eggs • The whiptail lizard evolve from am ancestor that had male and females sexes. • Similarities • They both reproduce sexually. • Both gets pregnant
