Arrangements for the Evening • Subject stands are available in the sports hall for you to look at and gather information and advice about the courses that interest you. • Subject and Sixth Form staff are on hand to answer any questions about the courses we have on offer. • Subject information is available at each stand and will give you further information about course structure, assessment, career opportunities and entry requirements.

Why our Sixth Form? • Over 97% A Level pass rate • 23% of students achieved A*/A (above national average) • 100% of our students went on to Higher Education, Employment or Apprenticeships • Widest selection of courses in the local area (31 on offer) • Expertise and resources from 2 schools • Specialist guidance through work placement and futures week

A six week induction programme • Support and guidance for University / High Level Apprenticeships / Career applications • Strong academic support through high quality lesson planning - all schemes of work are available on line • Regular assessments, with five progress checks across the year • University style tracking and online resourcing for all courses Guidance and Support

  6. The Curriculum A diverse curriculum which will cater for the needs of all our students that allows flexibility in choice All subjects will have an entrance criteria based on Average GCSE Points Scores (APS)

  7. Subject Choice • This year we are using a free choice system that will enable us to design the curriculum around the students’ needs • Choose subjects that steer you towards your intended career path • Choose subjects that you enjoy studying and have the ability to pass well
