  2. Course Work • Attendance is imperative! • Chapter quizzes • Homework and other daily assignments • Open-note pop quizzes – be ready!

  3. Evaluation • Major tests at end of each unit • Daily grade quizzes at end of each chapter, homework assignments, pop quizzes including open-note quizzes

  4. Projects • Market Day • Real World Project • Economics Puppet Show • All are major grades!

  5. Grading • Major grades – 50%, Daily grades – 50% • Each 9 wk. grade counts 40% of semester average • Semester exam now counts 20%

  6. Expectations • Be here, on time! • Bring your notebook w/ notes, pen or pencil • Do your work and turn it in!

  7. Expectations • If absent, it is YOUR JOB to make arrangements for completing make-up work – this includes getting class notes from a classmate • Observe ALL school rules!

  8. Extra Credit • Concept posters – 1 per nine weeks – 10 pts. on major grade • Make a poster over a subject covered during the six weeks – more detail later
