Action • Planning meetings held: • 18 Aug 08 – MHDDAD Region 2 Office and Teleconference • DFCS Region 7 Regional Director and Other Regional/County Staff • DJJ District 7 Director • 25 Aug 08 – Morgan County DFCS Office • DFCS Region 2 & 5 Regional Directors • DJJ Regional Administrator • DJJ District 2 & 5 Directors

  5. Crisis ResponseProtocols • Developed in conjunction with DFCS/DJJ leadership • Final Protocol disseminated 5 Sep • General schematic of process to access crisis mental health services. • County Listing of MHDDAD Core Providers with phone numbers and emergency access information. • Summary sheet of information Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL) will need to assist in triaging calls.

  6. Follow Up • Maintain regular contact with DFCS/DJJ counterparts • No reports as to use and utility of protocol information • Monitor/Solicit use for effectiveness and improvement
