In my discus throwing practice, I've identified several areas for improvement. My release arm is pointing too low, and my hand is improperly positioned with my thumb not on top. I need to support the discus better. Additionally, I practiced rotating three times to shift my body weight effectively. After release, my leg didn't rotate, and my arm angle was only 10 degrees when it should be at 45 degrees. Moving forward, my goals are to correct my release angle and ensure my leg rotates for better throw power.

Arm & Hand position • My release arm is pointing too low. • My hand is spread out over the discus, • but my thumb should be on top of discus not grabbing it. • I threw my arm out in front with other hand to support discus.
Rotation • I rotated 3 times practicing movements before throwing. • My body weight shifted from back to front.
Release • After release, the same side leg didn’t rotate • and stayed still. • My arm angle of release is about 10 degrees only, but it should be higher (45 degrees).
Improvements • My body weight shifted from back to front. • My hand position got more exact. • I rotated three times instead of two.
Goal setting • When releasing, I will release my arm in 45 degrees. • I will rotate my leg to get a powerful throw.
