Grueling – This is a grueling experience, demanding, or exhausting • Serenity – a period of calm and quiet during which you might listen to some relaxing music or swap emails with friends • Multitude – refers to a large number – a never-ending stream of phone calls, in this case, but you could also complain about a multitude of pop=ups or homework assignments • Solicitor – one who solicits, asks or begos for one thing or another • Resolve – verb, meaning to fix or resolve, meaning determination

  3. Assure – is to guarantee, self-assured, refers to confidence in one’s abilities • Monotonous – one that is repetitive and boring • Pursuit – search itself or the goal of that search. It means to follow • Conclude – it means to end, or to finish a thought • Infer – similar to second meaning of conclude, but it means to reason or to logically think, deduce

  4. Benevolent – means to be well, or to wish! Means someone who is kind or well-meaning • Resume – is to continue • Brashly – more then confident. Acting too quickly, or appear rude. • Dwindle – means to decrease in size or amount • Miser – someone who doesn't’t like to part with his money. A selfish person. Uncommon word.

  5. 165 – 180 • Cliché – expression that has been overused. Ex. Koreans love Northface. Or, its raining like cats and dogs! Don’t ever say it! • Predecessor – is one who comes before. • Agile – is one who can move swiftly and nimbly • Wizardry – refers to magic of other kinds as well. Chef doing wizardy.
