  3. FROM LEFT: Cynthia Wertz (with hand gesturing), David Shultz, Chris Gorman, Dennis Wertz, Donna (David’s friend) and Jim Martin. A few of the faculty with friends and spouses … Can you identify the faculty avoiding my camera?

  4. Long time members of our department greet the newest incoming members! FROM LEFT: Kenneth Hanck with Thelma Rhone meet a new assistant professor, Leslie and her husband, Greg Sombers.

  5. FROM LEFT: Stefan Franzen chats happily with our hostess, while Phil Brown sneaks out to the garden with his meal. To RIGHT: Phil Brown’s wife, Lisa, samples the refreshments. All enjoyed the lovely table …and many took their food to the garden.

  6. A chance to meet the husband or wife of colleagues … Ana Ison (side) with Adele Whitten (facing) Jim & Linda Martin with Jerry Whitten Bill & Ghada (Rabah) Daunch David Shultz with his shrimp! Ed & Anita Stejskal with Hanna Graz Ruben & Maria Moreno with Ray Bardowell (Anita’s husband).

  7. We caught one picture of Brenda in blue jeans! And here is Jackie Hughes NOT looking at the camera.

  8. Look behind Anita and see Alex Rogers talking to her fiance, Jeff Dalton. Jim Martin is conversing with Dennis Wertz who is hidden behind Donna, David Shultz’s friend, on the right. To the left, in the alcove, stands Ed Stejskal with Chris Gorman (in his grey suit, back to camera). Morteza caught Anita talking with Jackie Hughes … who once again is NOT getting her picture taken!
