  2. Title Continued • In both Aladdin and the Monkeys Paw they both had a talisman to grant their wish. But, in Aladdin the wishes turn out good unlike Monkeys Paw where the talisman misunderstood their wish. In Aladdin the talisman had to do double duty and wish for two people. All of the characters had their own motivation for all three of their wishes.

  4. Aladdin's First Wish • Wish #1-Aladdin wished to be a prince. • Wish #1 Outcome-He became a prince and marched into the Palace so he could marry Jasmine. • Wish #1 Motivation- He remembers Jasmine from the market and he couldn’t marry her if he was just a “street rat”.

  5. Aladdin’s Second Wish • Wish #2-He wished for Genie to rescue him. • Wish #2 Outcome- Genie shook Aladdin's head so he could pull Aladdin out of the water. • Wish #2 Motivation- Aladdin was going to drown if he did not wish to be saved.

  6. Aladdin’s Third Wish • Wish #3- To let Genie free. • Wish #3 Outcome- Genies cuffs fall off and he can make his own wishes. • Wish #3 Motivation- Aladdin had a promise with Genie and he wanted to keep his promise.

  7. The White Family • Wish#1-500 dollars • Wish#1 outcome-Their son is killed • Mr. White wanted money

  8. The White Family • Wish#2-Wished there son back • Wish#2 outcome- There “son” came back • Mrs. White was hurt because of her son

  9. The White Family • Last and finale wish • Wish#3-Wished there son away • Wish#3 outcome- There son is wished away • It was not the Whites son

  10. Jafar’s First Wish • Wish #1-Jafar wishes to become the Sultan. • Wish #1 Outcome- Jafar takes the Sultans clothes and becomes the Sultan. • Wish #1 Motivation- He is just the Sultans assistant but he wants more power.

  11. Jafar’s Second Wish • Wish #2- To become the most powerful sorcerer in the world. • Wish #2 Outcome- He becomes sorcerer and he turns into a giant snake. • Wish #2 Motivation- He wanted even more power.

  12. Jafar’s Third Wish • Wish #3- To become a genie. • Wish #3 Outcome- He became a large, red, evil, genie. • Wish #3 Motivation- He wanted to be the most powerful person in the world.
