  5. African Burial Ground Over 400 Africans were buried here in the 17th and 18th centuries. Archeologists discovered remains of African culture stretching back to over 350 years.

  6. African American Civil War Memorial The African American Civil War Memorial honors the service of 209,145 African American soldiers and sailors who fought for the Union in the United States Civil War .
