Fire Extinguisher Training

This comprehensive fire extinguisher training guide emphasizes the importance of fire safety on the flight line. Positioned strategically near aircraft and fuel tanks, the training outlines the four essential steps for using a fire extinguisher: 1) Pull the ring pin and break the safety strap, 2) Open the tank valve, 3) Position yourself 30 feet away from the fire, 4) Aim at the base of the fire and sweep the nozzle side to side. Understand the different classes of fires to ensure effective response and maintain safety in aviation environments.
