  3. Main achievements • Helped solve the DNA problem in King’s college with Maurice Wilkins • Found that phosphates are on the outside of the helical structure

Relations How she got help accelerating • Studied the structure with James Watson and Francis Crick How she helped others accelerate • Watson was shown Franklins X-ray pattern and then Watson wrote a book about her research • After the book was published, Watson and Crick built a DNA module of the double helix.
