  1. Task 4 Creator Kraig Marsh

Subject My Subject for my project is Crime Anime and this area has many influences and contextual elements for me one of which is the fact I had grown up with anime stumbling into it through finding a show named Naruto Shippuden which had sparked an enjoyment for the stylized version of animation I had never seen before, however I didn’t want this love to only pertain to the one show.

  3. Because of this I had spent most of my time trying to find shows which would kindle the same enjoyment I had from the first example that had lead to my brother recommending to me an anime called Death Note this was my first anime which had drifted into the crime genre and it was most of the most complicated things I had ever viewed however I had a great love for this show far beyond the original spark I had gotten from it this had allowed me to begin my love for crime related anime.

  4. Although after death note I had began looking for shows which had allowed me to switch off and just watch for Catharism leading me from romance shows like gravitation which also gave me emotional support to a show like attack on titan which I had only watched to be cathartic however I could never shake the itch I had to view more crime shows.

  5. With crime anime becoming my most enjoyed genre of anime I started consuming more and more products like this with shows like Jormungand and Psycho Pass becoming some of my favorites and as such are they had driven me to an enjoyment of shows and media which cover a wide variety of themes. However this was not the origin that existed for my themed shows consumption as this started when I was much younger.

  6. Discipline With the premise of themed narratives I now move onto my discipline as this more greatly affects this area in which I had chosen to select the discipline of writing this was chosen for a variety of reasons one of which was my consumption of a specific franchise of videogames when I was younger called the persona games which served as my introduction to viewing narratives with themes serving as the backbone of the story covering themes of public perceptions to rebellion and the power of rumors, but one theme has always stuck with me that being the theme for persona three the blue image beside this box.

  7. Persona 3 had given me a understanding along with a desire to learn more about the concept of mortality and self existence this has followed me through my life and has given me a desire to return to the crime genre with a new light as I wanted to construct a crime narrative which allows the viewers to understand why mortality plays a factor in everything. However my desire to use narratives comes from something very deep seated in my DNA and as such I will discuss that to a slide of its own.

  8. This area in which my literal genetics had effected my desire to construct written narratives was Dyslexia which has caused me to grow in my ability to be creative however writing became my primary way of expressing this because I always wanted to make a product where time constraints and technical ability would not affect the content of the project. However this has another reason that being that from a young age I was told I could never get a career in writing because of dyslexia and this made me want to prove them wrong.

  9. Practitioner Now that I have explained why I chose the two fields for me to specialise in I want to discuss one of the screen writers which has effected me in this field as this man Yōsuke Kuroda has worked on shows I have watched from when I was youngest to now from Jormungand and drifters to shows which I watch now like my hero academia these products had been corner stones in my life as such I consider him to be the screenwriter which has effected me in my works the most.
