Let’s channelize the inner model in you. 1. Height is mandatory The most gabbed about and required requisite in the modeling meadow. In this field, ‘Taller is better’. The minimum requirement for top fashion models is usually 5’7”, and supermodels are often 6’ or taller. But you can become a ramp model if you are 5.5 and above. 2. Age range Obviously, there are opportunities for models of pretty much any age, from babies to senior citizens, but the enormous majority of fashion models tend to be aged 12 – 22. High fashion will not use models under 16 years old. 3. Hair and skin Models are attractive. Hair should be strong, shiny and not too long. The skin should be flawless and even in tone. There is no preferred skin colour of type of hair or skin. 4. Physique Models need to be slender in order to make the clothes look worthy, but that does not mean skeletal. ‘The skinnier, the better’ is no longer an acceptable mantra. Models need to know how to flaunt the look and carry themselves. 5. Lingerie Measurements The typical lingerie measurements are: 1. Height 5’7″-6′, 2. Bust 32″-35″ C cup, 3. Waist 22″-26″, and hips33″-35″. A bikini model will be similar to a lingerie model but with a slightly larger bust size.
