Lu Dog Basketball Camp - Develop Skills & Sportsmanship

Lu Dog Basketball Camp encourages players to develop basketball skills and sportsmanlike behavior through ball handling drills, footwork lessons, games, relays, and team competitions. Campers build self-esteem and confidence, earn playing time, compete in the Money Game, and receive champion awards, fostering friendships with coaches and players. Everyone is a Lu Dog champion!

  2. Lu Dog High Five! CAMP PURPOSE Lu Dog Camps are designed to encourage players to develop basketball skills and strengthen sportsmanlike behavior.

  3. BALL HANDLING Each day players practice ball handling skills including: left & right hands, behind-the-back, basic crossover, between-the-legs.

  4. Lessons on proper footwork is probably the most valuable part of the camp. This will ensure good balance and readiness during future games. FOOTWORK

  5. RELAYS COACH SAYS RELAYS Campers get a chance to compete on teams for weekly points that determine who participates in the championship game!

  6. CAMP VALUES Through building basketball skills the campers develop self-esteem and confidence.

  7. GAME TIME! Each camper gets an equal amount of playing time to practice in team competitions.

  8. MONEY GAME THURSDAYS The Money Game is a competition where hardworking campers are selected to blindly search for money!

  9. CHAMPION AWARDS Each day coaches highlight players that impressed them.

  10. FRIENDSHIP It’s true that campers learn a lot of basketball skills, but the greatest thing camp offers is a chance to build friendships with coaches and players!
