  1. Adv. Algebra factoring review • This review should prepare you for the factoring test in Advanced Algebra. Read each problem , work out the answer, then check your answer by clicking on the mouse.

  2. 1. Multiply (x +4)(x2 - 4) • X3+ 4x2 - 4x -16

  3. 2. What is the GCF of the following: 18xy, 27x2? • 9x

  4. 3. Multiply : 4x(3x-4)(2y+5) • 24x2y + 60x2 - 32xy - 80x

  5. 4. Factor: 6x2 + 12x • 6x(x+2)

  6. 5. Factor: 5x2 - 125 • 5(x+5)(x-5)

  7. 6. Factor: x2 + 8x + 15 • (x + 5)(x + 3)

  8. 7. Factor: 4x2 - 6x + 2 • 2(2x-1)(x-1)
