If we travel light, we can be effective in what God wants us to do. We can be fruitful when we do not carry a bunch of thorns with us! Life is a journey but God wants us to travel light

  2. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; (Psa 23:2a) The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (Psa 23:1) (1) Freedom from fear – see the Shepherd (2) Freedom from friction with others – rights & rank (3) Freedom from pests - irritation (4) Freedom from hunger He leads me beside the still waters. (Psa 23:2b)

  3. HOPELESSNESS & GUILT Why are you cast down, O my soul? (Psalm 42:11) (1) Too comfortable? (2) Too much wool (flesh, world)? (3) Too fat (material success)? He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. (Psa 23:3)

  4. DEATH, FEAR & LONELINESS WE WALK THROUGH IT! THE VALLEY LEADS TO THE MOUNTAIN! IT IS JUST THE SHADOW OF DEATH ROD – WORD OF GOD STAFF – HOLY SPIRIT Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (Psa 23:4)

  5. SHAME, DISAPPOINTMENTS & ENVY You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. (Psa 23:5) HAVE YOU LOOKED AT YOUR CUP RECENTLY?

  6. Jesus Himself will come and take us home! DOUBT & HOMESICKNESS And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, (Eph 4:11-12 NKJV) In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. (Jn 14:2-3) Apostles to lead us Prophets to speak His message to us Evangelists to give us the gospel And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: (Eph 4:11-12 KJV) LOSE YOUR EXCESS BAGGAGE! Pastors to guide us Teachers to teach us BUT GET READY FOR YOUR FLIGHT! Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. (Psa 23:6)
