  5. Course Requirements *Everything that appears on calendar is required • Rehearsal and Sectionals = 10 – 20 points • Performances = 100 - 200 points • Tests = 10 points • Paper Turn-ins = 10 points

  7. Attendance • Excused Absences - Please verify with a written note • Unexcused Absences lower students grade and earn 0 points

  9. Expenses • Fundraisers are provided for students to earn lab donations. • Lab donations ($140 for field season – see schedule for suggested payments) • Band T-Shirt ($15 – see order form) – required, everything else is optional. • Marching shoes ($25 see order form –due date for order and payment is tomorrow.

Parent Activities What you can do to help • Ways and means / concessions - we host a field tournament on Saturday, October 18. • Chaperones • Truck driver • Football Games – water, bleacher covers, supervision, uniforms, taco/taquito stand. • Tournament program • Field Show prop construction • Your Band Booster Board: President: Mr. Hernandez; Vice President: Mrs. Loza; Treasurer: Mrs. Hernandez & Secretary: Mrs. Franco

President’s Comments • Volunteer Expectations • Treat the event participants, other volunteers and students with respect. • Follow all instructions provided to you by parent leaders and the band director. Inform the band director should you have a communication problem. • Follow all school and event rules, regulations and policies as written or specified. • Threatening or harassing behavior will not be result in removal from the volunteer event and could result in expulsion from future events and/or Baldwin Park Band Booster Club. • Individuals must not be under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances while participating in volunteer activities. • Safety is of utmost importance at all times. • Be on time, every time. If you are running late or will not be able to participate in the event, please notify by phone or by text one of the band booster board members

Comentarios del Presidente • Expectativas De Voluntarios • Tratar a los participantes del evento, otros voluntarios y estudiantes con respeto. •     Siga todas las instrucciones proporcionadas por los líderes y el director de la banda. Informar al director de la banda en caso de tener un problema de comunicación. •     Siga todas las reglas de eventos, reglamentos y políticas como el lenguaje escrito o especificado. •     Amenazar o acosar comportamiento será resultado en la eliminación del evento voluntario y puede resultar en la expulsión de los futuros eventos y / o de Baldwin Park Band Booster Club. •     Las personas no deben estar bajo la influencia del alcohol o de sustancias controladas durante su participación en actividades de voluntariado. •     La seguridad es muy importante en todo momento. •     Llegue a tiempo, cada vez.
