  1. Screencasting Web Apps and Software for the Creation of Flipped Classroom Video Lectures

  2. What is the Flipped Classroom? • Simplified Version • Lectures (and assessment) are done at home using videos and other means of content delivery. • Homework is done in class. Traditional conceptions of classwork and homework are flipped.

  3. What is the Flipped Classroom? Messier Version • During class • Q&A • Micro-lectures to address general gaps in understanding. • Activities that help the students engage the content in meaningful ways. • Encourage higher-order processing of the content. • Outside of Class • Some sort of content is provided to be “learned” or to provide first exposure to the content. Often implemented using video lectures, but other methods may be used. Takes the place of a traditional lecture or the time spent in class introducing content. • Most implementations recommend assessment to both measure understanding of the content and to motivate learners to engage the materials outside of class.

  14. CamStudio • CamStudio – Unfortunately, these was removed from the analysis and I removed all links to the website. Though, CamStudio has been a good product for years, it seems that the current versions being provided at camstudio.org either contain malware bundled with the programs or they have been compromised and come with virus. While it seems that a more reliable version can be found at SourceForge, I can’t recommend this program any longer as there are plenty of better alternatives without these serious issues.
