  8. How to Use iShowU • Run iShowu (applications folder --> iShowu).
You will see presets on the left hand side of the window, these make it easy to quickly edit your settings. • Audio: This lets you choose the source for your audio,either mic or computer. It also determines the audio quality. This section lets you determine the video quality, frame rate, and compression. You may also choose to show certain indicators when clicking with the mouse.

  9. How to Use iShowU (continue) • Options: Here you can select the recording area as well as whether to follow the mouse or not. • To capture video Click "Record" at the bottom of the screen. Close the window (application will still be running). After you have completed your recording, click on the ishowu icon at the bottom of the screen to bring up the window. Click Finish. The file should be saved to your desktop.
