P#54 – AIR5359 Update Team Vince MayMike Roberts 2005-06-07 New • AIR5359 contains “shalls” therefore it should be an AS (Standard) • Need for implementation of AS9104 in the Americas’ Sector • Develop a comparison matrix between AS9104 and AIR5359 • Draft AS9014 • Perform gap analysis of AS9014 vs. FAA 8120.12 and C.I. 21-011 • Submit to SAE for 2 week review • Submit for balloting • Release AS9014 • Requirements for AS vs. AIR were not clearly understood • Release of AS9104 by the IAQG caused a re-write of AIR5359 • Successful ballot in the Americas • Change AIR5359 to AS9014 • Integrate AIR5359 and AS9104 requirements into a AS9014 as a single document • 100% Project Milestones • Meeting Attendance
