Your S.7 students… • must apply JUPAS via your school as “SCHOOL APPLICANTS”; and • they are NOT allowed to apply to institutions directly. To University 9

Applications • Must be submitted via the JUPAS online application system. • Online demo will be available as from 11 Sept 2009. • Application period: 15 Sept - 2 Dec 2009. • Applicants can apply for admission to a maximum of 25 study programmes (bands A – E). 10

1) School Principal’s Nominations (SPN) • Nominations must be submitted via the JUPAS online application system. • Supporting documents: upload or submit hard copies to the JUPAS Office by schools. • Deadline for nominations: 18 May 2010. 16

1) SPN (con’t) • Nominees’ band A choices as at 24 May 2010will be considered by institutions. • Institutions may (a) make conditional offers, or (b) give bonus points, or (c) give no special consideration. • School principals will be informed by institutions before the announcement of 2010 HKALE. 17

2) Self Recommendation Scheme (SRS) • Submitted via the JUPAS online application system by students. • Supporting documents are required. (For details, please refer to JUPAS Guide Appendix 4 Section 1.) • Deadline for submission: 27 Feb 2010. 19

3) Applicants with a Disability • Submit paper application form by applicant. • Supporting documents are required. • Deadline for application: 27 Feb 2010. 20

3) Applicants with a Disability(con’t) • Applicants will be notified on 22 Jul 2010. • Two new categories of disability have been added to this Sub-system, namely: - “attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder” and - “specific learning difficulties”. 21
