  2. Boy Scout Log Cabin located at 21 Front Street

  3. Owned by Scouts Canada, and located on City-owned property, the cabin was in poor repair and slated for demolition in 2002

  4. New home of the cabin at the Bradley Museum Site

  5. Construction on the basement began in December 2006

  6. And was completed early in 2007

  7. Documenting, dismantling, and rebuilding the cabin was entrusted to Scott Kelly of Log Farm Building ….. www.logfarmbuliding.com

  8. City of Mississauga Forestry staff assisted with the dismantling and loading the logs on the truck to be moved to their new home.

  9. Ready to start work at the new site, March-April 2007

  10. Back addition provides accessible entrance and washroom, small kitchenette.

  13. New fireplace constructed from stone and bricks from Gray House, Port Credit

  14. Project Plans • The cabin will retain its rustic and historic ambience • Will be used for educational and children’s groups programs, ‘sleepovers’, meeting and social rentals, special events, etc. • A2 Occupancy under Building Code

  15. Cabin nearing completion….. will open in December 2007
